Welcome to Trans-Academics.org's Reference Library

We at Trans-Academics.org are very pleased to present our independent searchable trans-specific Reference Library! We hope that you will find this to be a valuable tool and resource for your own research.

PS - Don't forget to tell others about this great resource!

Provide Feedback
Think a piece of work listed in the Reference Library is really great? Think that it is transphobic and problematic? Leave a comment with your thoughts for other members to consider.

Of note:

  • If you are Endnotes or Bibtex user, you can individually export our references into your program, using our export function located at the bottom of each individual reference.
  • If you are not an Endnotes or Bibtex user, but are looking for something to help you keep track of your references easily, you may want to check out Zotero , which is an add-in for the Firefox browser that allows you to collect, manage and cite all of your references. (Please note that we are not affiliated with, or being compensated by Zotero, we just really like what they do!)
  • Is your favorite (or your own) trans reference not listed? Add it to our library by using the "Create Content" link on the left side of your page, or you can contact us to add it.
  • A few bugs:
The software that Trans-Academics.org is using for the site is still under development by its creator. There are a few bugs here and there (such as an alphabetization error) that we are aware of and have reported to the software programmer. Your patience with the programmer and the Trans-Academics.org team is greatly appreciated. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any problems using our library.
