Trans-Academics.org is the flagship project of the Association for Gender Research, Education, Academia & Action, (AGREAA)and is designed to provide educational and community resources for those with an academic or personal interest in the spectrum of gender identities.
Our services include: a reference library, which has over 1600(!) individual listings of academically-oriented publications related to the spectrum of gender, community networking tools such as our profile, buddy-list and e-mail list-serve options, research tools and educational materials to assist you with your work, and a community announcements area where you can find the latest conference announcements, CFPs, scholarships, trans-related news and much more.
Our site is always a work in progress and we welcome your input and feedback. All of the services that we provide are free of charge. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!

This sight is truly worth every minute you spend on it. To be able to heighten social awareness to the issues involved in transitioning and the overall difficulties involved in the process, has been needed for an extreamly long time. Here I have found a oasis from the predigist and disrespect that people show to one another.
The substance and topics are well worth anyone's time either first being interested or later in transition. I look forward to participating and sharing.

Overall the "drupal" site is very organised. The content is very comprehensive from many trans points of view, and interest. I like the links to news and related groups from here also.
