Abstract:
The article focuses on Sigma Phi Beta, a college fraternity that accepts transgender students as its members. On May 14, 2006, Sigma Phi Beta held a meeting in Tucson, Arizona wherein its national board of directors implemented a policy that allows transgender students to join the organization. Sam Holdren, president and chairman of Sigma Phi Beta, stated that in developing such policy, they put some meat behind their statement of trans-inclusivity.
