Abstract:

Several letters to the editor are presented in response to articles published in previous issues of the journal "Nursing Standard." The articles include issues related to the GLBT community, overseas recruitment of nurses, experiences of nurses working in the National Health Services, and the conversion of extra hours worked by nurses either as overtime or for more time off.
